- Have had the STRANGEST experiences with telnet, and a new commercial site I

- Sorry about that... to continue,
-
- Toshiba 1950CT notebook
- Windows 3.1 with 32-bit extensions courtesy of Borland C++ 4.0
- Netmanage Chameleon (latest version)
-
- Now to the weirdness. This system allows you to login over the Internet. ALl
- is well and good, and after playing with my color choices, I could actually
- read what was on the system.
-
- The system also lets you go to a UNIX shell. When I am dialed in and using
- SLIP with either the Chameleon Telnet or the NCSA beta 3 telnet, I can type
- and see my characters echoed back, but the shell ignores what is typed.
-
- If I log into another UNIX system, telnet from it to the service, then drop to
- the shell, everything works fine.
-
- If I use my dial-up shell access, telnet to the service, then drop to the
- shell, everything works fine.
-
- Any(!) ideas?
-
